The bridal party can spend the morning getting ready in our bridal suite and enjoy drinks from the wet bar—after all, what’s a wedding day without morning mimosas?

Our patio that’s connected through the reception hall is a great option for an outdoor wedding. The newly renovated patio holds up to 100 guests and is accented by a lovely pergola. When it’s time for the reception, guests can enjoy stepping out onto the patio for some fresh air—if it’s a chillier night, we also have a patio heater to keep everyone warm and comfortable.

Inside, Stillwater Event Center has space for 225 guests, so an indoor ceremony is a good option if you plan on having a larger wedding. We offer both round and rectangular tables so you can have the setup of your dreams. Our staff takes care of all the setup, including transitioning from a ceremony setting to a reception dinner and dance. The decorations are up to you—we have beautiful fabric drapes that hang from the ceiling, so all you have to worry about are centerpieces or any other small decorations. You can also decorate our entrance area to really make the space your own for the day!

One of the most important parts of a wedding reception: food. Our in-house caterer, Scheel’s Catering, takes care of it all! Choose from a wide variety of delicious appetizers, entrees, and desserts— mashed potato bar is certainly a crowd favorite. Our event hall also has a bar, which is important for a wedding reception! When it comes to music, you can have either a DJ or a live band—if you choose the latter, we’ll just need to discuss the details of how much space they’ll need.

By choosing Stillwater Event Center for your reception or ceremony, you get to enjoy the beautiful scenery that Stillwater, MN has to offer. Take sunset photos just a few blocks away at the Stillwater Bridge, or direct your guests to the downtown shops if there’s time between the ceremony and reception.
